About Matthew

Tutored since college in 2013. Began with primarily 1st to 5th graders. Tutored those in college by teaching them how to learn first. Yes, you have to be taught how to learn. Also taught them approaches to applying what they were learning to life around them.
Tutored workforce (young adults to senior adults) in Microsoft applications like Excel and Word. They were able to complete their work faster and efficiently. Sometimes it was as simple as observing and then showing them the keys for line breaks instead of using spacebar and guessing.
Taught high school math Algebra 1 and Geometry. Teacher of the year.

Lessons for anyone in elementary to high school and those that need help with test preparation from high school to university.
Teach how to approach and think through any problem or situation that comes up.
For math we'll develop critical thinking skills by trying different ways out. Some will lead to an incorrect answer and some the correct answer. Our focus will be on why it got there, so we can replicate and any mistakes can be corrected.
Become a better test taker, applier of knowledge.
If need to study for SAT will be using official SAT study guide source - Khan Academy. Both reading and math.
