About Megan
I have just finished sixth form with an A in A level biology and B in A level chemistry so the content is still very fresh to me . I’m currently studying biomedical science at the university of Leeds so I’m constantly covering in detail topics that apply to A level biology. I have also tutored for one year already with organisations, such as success4all.
My main goal within tutoring biology is to apply my own knowledge and experience as I know the key points to getting top grades .
It’s no secret that the hardest part of getting top grades in biology is being able to apply the knowledge to exam style questions and so therefore this will be a primary focus for me.
I have experience tutoring y5-y9 students where I have been able to explain things in a way that they understood but couldn’t at school from teachers.

Our first lesson will be a free get to know each other lesson, where we will discuss what you want to achieve from our lessons, your academic achievements and what your goal is. Within this we will get an idea of what your weak spots are within biology so I can tailor make lessons for your specific needs.
My lessons follow a structure, where for half an hour we will cover the basic understanding of the concept and then get into the fine details of it. And then for the second half we will focus on answering exam style questions to make sure the tutee can apply this knowledge to achieve A/A star in exams.
