About Haris
I started singing in Grade 4 and my first performance was on stage (I believe I can fly by R. Kell & Allah ke Bande by Kailash Kher). The resounding applause by the audience in my school auditorium and multiple podium positions throughout school & college made me realize my lifelong hobby & passion. I learned playing the synthesizer in grade 4 and then took up guitar in grade 6 by a legendary Kolkata-based jazz guitarist (Carlton Kitto). Since then, I did not stop. I looked up all possible sources of honing my skills and now at the age of 28, I believe I can share my humble understandings with the new generations!

Who is it for?/ What purpose does it fulfill? Primarily for anyone who has never picked up a guitar and has simple objectives for learning the instrument- 1) Hobby expansion 2) Stage performance & eliminating stage fear 3) Vocal accompaniment 4) Family events What will you learn? 1) Strumming the guitar with your fingers alone (without plectrums) 2) Chords (Basic and Barred) 3) Vocalizing & matching your scale with the guitar 4) Basic Arpeggios 5) Tab reading (Guitar) As a vocalist, my USP is that I offer vocal lessons along with guitar lessons as a value added offering! This will help you learn singing & playing the guitar at the same time!
