About Sarah
I am U.S.-educated from kindergarten through my Ph.D., a native English speaker, and experienced with students from high school to retirement, a range of abilities and aptitudes, and non-native English speakers. I have taught for accredited, English-speaking universities in the U.S., the United Arab Emirates, and Japan.
I am currently enhancing my skills by earning certification to teach high school with an eye towards teaching university and/or AP courses in Economics and Statistics overseas or online.

You tell me what you need to learn and I will provide explanations, examples, and practice problems to help you master the concepts. You want more lecture, you got it. You want more practice, you got it.
For two years (during the pandemic), I taught "face-to-face" classes completely online so I am well-versed on using tech to make online teaching/tutoring feel as in-person as possible.
I also have a large database of materials in case you want additional readings, videos, etc. to access outside our tutoring sessions. I am happy to meet with study groups for the same hourly rate as individuals.

Details
My current rate of $35/hour is low to compensate for my lack of reviews. This rate will increase as my credibility on the site grows.
I am happy to meet with groups at the standard hourly rate. The group must be organized by the student(s) and payment made as a single payment.
I anticipate mostly online tutoring, however I am open to traveling worldwide to provide in-person instruction with a 3 day minimum at a day rate of $700/day. Student must pay for and/or arrange air and ground transportation. Please contact me for details if you are interested in such an arrangement.
