Approach
I hold a Master's degree in Education and have spent 17 years in public education working as a classroom teacher, district curriculum writer, and middle school math coach. My coaching approach centers on building deep conceptual understanding rather than having students memorize isolated steps. I break down complex standards into bite-sized, accessible strategies, using clear success criteria and real-time feedback so students understand why the math works and how to approach new problems on their own.
What Sets Me Apart
Having trained and mentored teachers on how to teach math effectively, I know exactly where students get stuck and why. I bring a patient, practical perspective to every session, tailoring each lesson to your child's specific learning style to rebuild confidence and make math feel manageable.
