About Emma
Since graduating from the University of Manchester with a 2:1 in French studies I continued my interest in language and education and obtained a Master's degree in Psychology, centering my thesis on the impacts of personality on learning. I have taught in secondary schools in both England and France and am DBS checked.

The most important thing about learning a language is confidence and to get the most from tutoring I feel it is important that the student feels comfortable, curious and empowered. Also as a native English speaker I have a thorough knowledge of the challenges presented in learning French as a second language. My aim is for students to leave every session with a sense of accomplishment and for their confidence using the language creatively to improve. I want to help you achieve your goals as well as foster the wonderful role that learning a new language can have in your life, equipping you with skills you can take forward into other areas.
