About Brooke
Growing up, I have always loved reading and writing. From absorbing myself in Jacqueline Wilson’s chaotic fiction, to studying the likes of Woolf and Brontë at University, literature has always been present within my educational journey. After gaining my degree in English and Creative Writing, I studied for my PGCE, qualifying me as a teacher. I have been fortunate enough to teach in an extensive range of year groups, across a diverse spectrum of schools (mainstream, SEND). I am extremely enthusiastic about combining my love for English, with my expertise in teaching, offering 1-1 tutoring sessions.

After completing my PGCE and becoming a qualified teacher specialising in English, I have acquired a multitude of skills that can be utilised to support those studying at secondary level and those in further education. My inclusive, proactive approach to teaching has proved successful within the classroom setting, and is something that I want to extend beyond, to support those who need focused and personal development within English. Learning should be adaptive, catered to individual needs, and through my experience, I pride myself on being adaptive and purposeful in my teaching.
