I bring a unique blend of athletic achievement and academic excellence to the work I do, both in the pool and in the classroom. As a retired NCAA All-American and Academic All-American swimmer, I hold multiple state records and have spent over 10 years coaching private swim lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. My background as a competitive athlete has taught me the importance of discipline, patience, and effective communication—skills I bring to every lesson to help my students succeed and feel confident. Whether I’m helping a swimmer master their freestyle stroke or guiding a student through the revision process of an essay, I am committed to providing supportive, personalized instruction. I care deeply about creating a learning environment where students feel encouraged, capable, and empowered to meet their goals. Who My Swim Lessons Are For:
Ages 3 through adult
Complete beginners to competitive swimmers
Swimmers preparing for tryouts, fitness goals, or improving water safety and confidence.
My Approach & Method:
My swim coaching is patient, supportive, and technique-driven. I believe in meeting swimmers where they are—whether it’s overcoming fear of the water or refining competitive strokes. Lessons are paced to ensure confidence while building skill.
Typical Swim Lesson Structure:
Warm-up and skill check-in
Focused skill work (e.g., freestyle breathing, stroke technique, flip turns)
Drills to reinforce proper form and efficiency
Cool down and progress review with clear goals for the next session
