About Marcus
Hi learners!
I’m from Gothenburg, but I’ve spent the last 13 years living abroad and teaching Swedish all over the world – in fact, on four different continents. I have a university degree in Swedish and have been a full-time teacher for many years.
Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of professionals get ready for Sweden’s job market, supported people who found love across borders, and of course taught plenty of learners who simply enjoy studying the language for fun or travel.
If I had to mention something that sets me apart from many other teachers it'd be my long-term commitment. I’ve been teaching full-time for over a decade, and my students know I’ll be there to support them every step of the way. Over the years, I’ve welcomed many learners whose previous teachers stopped teaching, and I’ve provided them with the stability and guidance they need to succeed.
