About Molly
I am a socio-cultural anthropologist with a passion for teaching and meeting people from across the globe. I recently formed part of an international team in the SFERA Experience, representing my university in the finals in Tec de Monterrey. This is a competitive programme for social innovation and environmental transformation that is centered upon the UN Framework for Sustainable Development. As a compulsory part of my MA in Anthropology, I had to conduct ethnographic field research abroad. I spent 5 months in Latin America, a month of which was spent on research placement in Bolivia with indigenous social, economic and spiritual practices.

A deep look at the concepts of "Sustainability" and "Development" from a multicultural perspective, fostering critical thinking and intercultural awareness. We will discuss dominant and non-dominant discourses on the topics, from the UN Sustainable Development Goals to indigenous worldviews. We will also draw on my ethnographic experience in Latin America.
