About Camila
I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies, a Master of Music in Voice Performance, and a PhD in Vocal Pedagogy. Over the last 13 years, I have helped singers strengthen technique, improve confidence, and achieve meaningful musical goals. My passion for singing began through live performance, ensemble participation, and years of vocal training. Teaching allows me to combine artistic expression with mentorship and education. Supporting students as they discover their voices remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.
My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and individualized guidance. Every voice is unique, and lessons are designed to reflect each learner’s strengths and aspirations. Technical instruction is balanced with artistic development so that learning remains engaging and purposeful. Students receive practical support that helps them build confidence through steady progress. This creates a welcoming and positive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring vocal traditions, attending concerts, and studying music from different cultures. These interests enrich my lessons and help me bring fresh perspectives into the classroom. Watching students achieve goals they once thought impossible is deeply fulfilling. I strive to make every lesson inspiring and effective. My goal is to help learners build voices that reflect both skill and authenticity.

My singing lessons focus on helping students develop healthy vocal technique while building confidence in their unique voice. Learners work on breath support, resonance balance, vocal placement, phrasing, articulation, pitch control, and expressive communication through carefully structured exercises. I encourage students to connect technical skills with emotional expression so that singing feels both natural and meaningful. Lessons provide a supportive environment where learners can explore their abilities without fear of mistakes. This creates steady progress and lasting confidence.
Every student receives personalized instruction based on individual goals and musical interests. Activities may include vocal warm-ups, song interpretation work, performance preparation, breath-awareness training, and creative expression exercises. Students who want greater confidence are guided through practical strategies that strengthen stage presence and vocal consistency. Constructive feedback helps learners improve while maintaining motivation. This individualized approach supports long-term development and enjoyment.
My goal is to help students feel comfortable expressing themselves through music. As vocal skills grow, learners often discover greater freedom, confidence, and artistic awareness. Lessons encourage persistence, self-reflection, and creative growth. Every achievement contributes to stronger vocal ability and personal development. I want students to enjoy every stage of their singing journey.
