About Evelyn
I’m a Biology tutor with over 12 years of experience and a BSc in Biomedical Science. I specialise in making complex topics like microbiology and immunology easy to understand and engaging to learn. I use microscopy images, interactive models, and virtual lab tours to bring the invisible world to life. My passion lies in teaching bacterial growth, viral replication, immune system responses, and strategies for disease prevention. My teaching approach in Biology is thoughtful, engaging, and focused on building strong reasoning skills. This approach strengthens their ability to think like a biologist. Visual tools such as evolutionary trees, diagrams, and timelines help clarify complex ideas. I use case studies and scientific discoveries to show how biological theories develop and evolve. Each session is interactive, allowing students to engage with the material at a deeper level. I work especially well with Food Chemists and Green Chemists, helping them connect biology to chemistry and environmental science. I support learners in refining their understanding of life’s complexity and interdependence. Lessons are paced to the student’s comfort and designed to build both knowledge and confidence.
