About Zelie
I’m an enthusiastic Biology tutor with more than 9 years of experience helping young students discover the science of life. My background includes a BSc in Ecology and Conservation, which strengthened my passion for understanding ecosystems and biodiversity. I especially enjoy teaching middle school learners, because they are naturally curious about the world around them. Every lesson becomes an adventure.
In my sessions, I encourage students to observe nature closely. We explore how plants grow, how animals behave, and how living organisms interact with their environments. Small details often lead to big discoveries. I also use simple hands-on experiments, such as seed germination activities, to help students see biology in action.
Stories about biodiversity are another favorite part of my lessons. I love sharing examples of unusual plants, interesting animal adaptations, and fascinating ecosystems. These stories help students connect emotionally with science.
Over the years, I’ve helped many learners develop a genuine love for nature and scientific exploration. Watching that excitement grow is incredibly rewarding. Biology is everywhere around us. Let’s explore its wonders together!

This teaching methodology focuses on exploring Biology as the study of life’s diversity and development. Lessons include topics such as evolutionary biology, natural selection, speciation, and phylogenetics. These areas help students understand how species change and how they are related through evolutionary history. Patterns in nature become clearer.
Critical thinking is encouraged in every lesson. Students examine evidence, interpret biological data, and form conclusions based on reasoning. Questions are always welcome. This creates an active learning environment.
