I've had the privilege of taking drum lessons with Tom for over 4 years now and every lesson is as exciting and engaging as when he first helped me pick up a pair of sticks. The breadth of his expertise seems to have no limits-- he has taught me songs from a great variety of genres along with more technical aspects and that have helped progress my playing immeasurably. He has also helped me a great deal with music theory which I had previously struggled with before Tom's lessons but he's since helped me make it feel like a breeze! Always accommodating, he thoughtfully caters his lessons to my desired directions whilst still finding creative ways to challenge my playing along the way. He's patient, knowledgable, communicative, enthusiastic, and above all an incredible musician and mentor. Not to mention he's got a great sense of humour and puts you at ease from minute 1.
