About Maddie
My name is Madison, and I am a middle school–trained teacher who has shifted my focus to working with younger students who need extra support in reading and writing. I have a strong background in education and have worked with students across a variety of ages, which has given me the flexibility to meet children where they are and help them grow with confidence. I am especially passionate about early literacy. I enjoy making reading fun and interactive by using hands-on tools like magnetic tiles, decodable books, and story cards. I believe that every child can succeed as a reader and writer when lessons are personalized, engaging, and supportive. When I am not tutoring, I love reading, creating, and spending time with my family. I bring patience, creativity, and a positive attitude to every lesson so your child feels encouraged and motivated to keep learning.
