About Hillary

I started tutoring for grade-school children during my first year of university at The College of William & Mary/University of St. Andrews Joint Degree Programme. While I majored in history and minored in anthropology, I undertook various mathematics classes to fulfil elective credits. Outside of university, I have continued expanding my knowledge in environmental sciences, chemistry, and economics. In high school, I successfully scored a 5 on 9 AP exams, allowing me to effectively prepare students to walk into AP exams confident and well-prepared.

About the lesson

I have been a private tutor for the past four years, helping students ages 8-16 succeed in subjects such as mathematics, chemistry, history, and economics. My lessons are catered towards the students’ needs, with an emphasis placed on putting lesson problems into real-world situations. This way, students can relate not only to the information at hand, but can also answer the common question of, “why do I need to learn this??”
