About Vasilis
My music career includes accomplishments of performances across Europe, alongside notable experience of teaching piano, accompaniment, vocal coaching, guitar and music theory. As a solo and collaborative pianist, I have performed numerous recitals, chamber music concerts and concerts in Austria, France, the United Kingdom, Serbia, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey having cooperated and shared the stage of many prestigious venues and internationally recognised organisations with many remarkable musicians. My repertoire includes solo piano works from the baroque period to the present day as well as a wide variety of major chamber music and vocal works.

I realised very early on in life that music can rule the world and unite people! My teaching purpose is therefore to inspire and influence students and musicians, whatever their age, level or interest; to love, respect, and find expression through music and/or music performance.
Having worked at schools, music academies, conservatories, and other musical environments throughout my music career, I have always strived to serve my purpose and achieve at the highest level. This has been reflected in students’ examination results, success of concerts, achievements and general student satisfaction.
General tutor’s responsibilities:
• Improving musical abilities and develop the ability to create, appreciate, respect and enjoy music.
• planning and preparing lessons in relation to individual pupils' needs and examination syllabuses
• acquiring appropriate teaching materials and resources in a safe teaching environment
• motivating pupils and encouraging progress
• teaching music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to pupils
• entering and preparing pupils for examinations
• arranging performance classes, recitals and concerts for pupils' families and friends
• creating and maintaining a network of contacts to ensure work continuity
• ensuring up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements and syllabi.
