About Ying
Hi there! As a native Chinese, I spent four full years at a United States university to get the degree before returning to my hometown. I know exactly the process of learning a non-native language as I had the same experience. Learning a new language let you exposed to a new world, and you may start to appreciate that already. I have a American friend who has been very active in learning Chinese from me since the first meeting. Her enthusiasm is invigorative. Teaching Chinese for me is not just about completing tasks, but about sharing our culture. On the other hand, whether I was overseas or not, I am always curious about the world. As a teacher, I'm never stop growing.

I have been interested in tutoring others since I was a child, tutoring my cousin's homework in junior high school, teaching the friends Chinese abroad, and recently teaching a close friend English. I enjoy the output of knowledge and witness the gains of the other party. What we need to be clear about is your goal in learning Chinese, is it because of interest or passing the exam? We can discuss topics you're interested and improve Chinese communication skills. Or use the exam materials as a basis to plan and create your private lessons. The lessons should be fun and the improvement should be significant, that's what I aim to teach.
