About Diya
Education has always been a large part of my life and I therefore thoroughly enjoy being able to help other students achieve their potential and flourish academically.
Through my experience in tutoring clients of various ages and academic skillsets, I have been able to recognise and develop integral skills to ensure students truly understand the material and are involved in their sessions.
Being able to break down complex concepts and deliver teaching with patience and empathy has allowed me to drive results in my clients. I truly enjoy the process of teaching and having the ability to instil academic confidence and higher self-esteem in my clients.

I utilise Bramble to create a digital whiteboard space where I can demonstrate ideas to students in a visual way alongside verbal explanations.
Lesson duration: 50 minutes
My experience as a tutor involved tutoring GCSE and KS3 level students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and RS on a weekly basis. I researched and designed learning plans tailored to each student and in accordance with curriculum guidelines. I assessed student progress and supported them in reviewing their own learning and ability. I worked in collaboration with parents to assess child’s academic needs where necessary.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-level students.
