About Thomas
I am an active performer in the Liverpool music scene: I drum for a four piece rock band and play saxophone for an eight piece jazz-fusion band. I have been studying music for almost seven years and in that time have completed countless compositions for myself and my aforementioned bands, some of which can be found on wider streaming platforms. I believe that music is one of the most universally engaged with art forms and seek to impart my deep appreciation of it onto others.

I believe that the best way to learn is to enjoy what is being taught. Therefore I ensure that my lessons are not only informative but also fun; I try to structure them more as a conversation about the topic as opposed to a delivering of strict information. I let the interests of the student guide the topics I touch upon, pushing lightly outside their comfort zone to build their confidence and understanding. A typical lesson lasts between 30 minuets to an hour. I led workshops on songwriting and music production through my role as a youth ambassador for Newham Music in London as well as volunteering to assist GCSE and KS3 classes during my A-level studies. My lessons are for KS3 and GCSE level students.
