I worked with Susan at Rutgers University, where she was the teacher of our GED program. Susan’s dedication to teaching and empowering young people to reach their full potential is obvious in every interaction. She is passionate about education, and her belief in a growth mindset helps students achieve their goals. Not only does Susan motivate her students to work hard, she builds a true connection and creates an atmosphere of trust, where students feel comfortable and are willing to challenge themselves. Students would often stay after class or return for tutoring sessions, and Susan always found ways to build their confidence by explaining concepts easily, so every student could understand.

Then I met Ms Sue at a program she showed me where I was messing up and got me back on track.
