Studied Spanish for over 15 years and taught to hundreds of students in Los Angeles. I have also been through and taught immersion programs and attended UCLA for Spanish.

About Dominique
Since I do work with students in grades K-12 (and beyond), I find that it is imperative to learn about the students goals and needs before diving into a session. After every lesson I do follow up with the family with a report as a form of documentation and quality control. Most of the time session reports are shared with the student once the parent receives it. It’s very important to keep communication in real time so that families can plan their time effectively and there is no delay in their goals for the rest of the day, week, etc. I have been trained and taken internship programs while at UCLA and beyond. As we are students of life I take on a growth mindset myself and even furthering my education by going back to school in occupational therapy to help more individuals in the future.

I have developed executive functioning programs for students in grades K-12. I work specifically with this core idea and growth mindset at the forefront of every lesson. It is my mission to help students reach their goals in and out of school. The goal of tutoring is to have students build their toolbox of skills so they can be fully independent in the future and the actions they need to take whether an instructor is there or not. I believe in active learning and having great dialogue with the student during the session
