About Ruty
I have been tutoring for the last three years taking classes for students individually in English Literature and Maths and students have achieved grades 7-9 when they were struggling initially with lower grades at grades 5 and 6. I have taught a maximum of 9-10 students in groups but mainly concentrate on individuals to work on their strengths and weaknesses and harness their skills by concentrating on them more individually.

I teach English Literature by first testing the student's keenness to debate just generally and get them talking about various topics, be it religion, history and the context by which history, religion, and politics, for example, affect us in our day to day lives. Once I gauge the student's characteristics and willingness to analyse deeply into topics I work on helping them understand the words beyond the story that they see on the page if they are, for example, required to do a comparative analysis of the story in front of them. So I yearn to yield their thought process regarding the conceptualisation approach to analytical literary studies so that the student can deeply understand the text on a socio-political scale and gauge interest by comparing it to today. Once I gauge their interest in analysing literature I help them understand line by line what is happening and with essay writing to set the debate in an academic but original manner.
