About Timothy
I am a PA student beginning graduate school in June and have a degree in biochemistry from Whitworth University. I have experience teaching emergency medicine, tutoring high school math, and college level biology and anatomy and physiology. I recognize that every student is different so I cater my teaching method to what best helps the student learn grasp the concepts. My wife and I live in spokane and love this area and the outdoors.

My teaching method is to give a broad overview of the topic before I dig into the weeds. It is also important for students to know where the class is going and how best to orient their mind as to maximize their learning and retention. I help facilitate this by discussing what we will be taking about, getting into the subject (including them in this step the most), and reviewing everyday what we covered. I never assign "busy work" but only useful exercises that help reinforce critical concepts.
