About Oliver
I want to tutor mainly because I am so passionate on the aforementioned subjects, but also because I understand that a lot of the times regular schooling isn’t enough and/or suitable for some students and I believe that this shouldn’t be the end case; that students may feel the need to accept a lower grade than they aim for. I want to work closely with students to build confidence and ultimately the grades they deserve.

I am young and enthusiastic about the subjects I will be teaching, studying now and not too long ago having done my GCSEs and A-levels myself I can understand and reason with students and their own revision methods and understand that every student needs to work at their own pace that truly helps them progress in the subjects as I believe the last thing a student needs to progress is added pressure. I adopt a revision heavy method with a focus on the student asking questions on subjects they are unfamiliar with before finishing on a small mock test that I check and return in the next session with constructive suggestions to improve real test marks. My lessons can be geared towards GCSE and A-level students and can be whatever length the student believes they need on a given day and subject.
