About Leon
Hello, I am Leon and I will be your Physics/Maths tutor! I am currently studying an integrated master's in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Durham. I have always been interested in how the world works and that is why I pursued physics.
With my top grades in GCSEs and A-levels I bring a deep understanding of Mathematics and Physics and how to study these subjects effectively.
I hope to provide a teaching experience that I didn't have during my GCSE and A-level studies as I understand how difficult it can be to understand physics and mathematics . Being able to understand concepts makes it much easier to answer tough exam questions and will make you much more confident in your problem-solving skills.
Whether it's preparing for exams, or helping with homework, I am here to support you in your academic journey!

If you are struggling with your Physics/Mathematics GCSEs or A-levels then don't worry, I am here to help you. I will help improve your problem-solving skills and get you exam ready.
My lessons start by building a solid foundation of the material. Then I will start providing relatively simple problems for you to solve, if you succeed in answering them, then I will provide more complex problems. Based on my own experience achieving top grades in both GCSEs and A-levels, I can confirm that focusing on solving problems is extremely valuable. By practicing solving problems, you will not only master the concepts, but also learn to approach exams effectively.
By achieving 9's for all three sciences and mathematics at GCSE and 3A*s at A-level in Mathematics, Physics and Further Mathematics, I can confidently say my teaching methods will allow you to excel.
My lessons will typically last between 30 minutes and an hour. I understand that there are a lot of difficult concepts to understand in these subjects, therefore I don't mind going over the scheduled time to ensure you are happy with your understanding.
