About Tivaan
I am currently in my 6th year of teaching, I fell into teaching through a shortage at my old high school and fell in love with helping students progress in their learning journey. I’m a big believer in priority in progress which just means I emphasize the importance of progress in whatever stage of a student's learning rather than focusing on comparison to others!

I enjoy watching students really grasp a new concept. I pride myself on my ability to connect with people which helps them lower their walls and makes learning more free flowing. I have been through a 2 year intensive PLD in structured literacy and explicit instruction.
