About Emily
Hi! I’m Emily, a tutor who absolutely loves helping children learn, grow, and feel proud of themselves. I’ve worked with lots of amazing pupils across different schools — each with their own strengths, stories, and spark.
I want to teach because I believe every child deserves someone who sees their potential, listens to their ideas, and helps them feel confident in who they are. I love making learning fun, clear, and exciting — whether we’re cracking tricky maths problems, exploring powerful stories, or building skills step by step.
My lessons are full of encouragement, challenge, and creativity. I’ll always meet you where you are, help you believe in yourself, and celebrate every bit of progress along the way.

As a passionate tutor, I believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of success. My tutoring sessions are built on trust, encouragement, and high expectations — tailored to meet each pupil exactly where they are, and help them grow with confidence.
I specialise in KS2 SATs preparation across Maths, English, and Reading, using a blend of structured teaching, engaging activities, and personalised feedback. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps, using visual scaffolds, talk strategies, and retrieval practice to boost memory and understanding. I also weave in inclusive techniques that support pupils with SEND, EAL, or those who simply need a confidence boost.
My sessions are warm, purposeful, and rooted in evidence-based practice. I adapt to each child’s learning style, celebrate their progress, and build the kind of psychological safety that helps them take risks and thrive. Whether we’re tackling tricky grammar or building maths fluency, I make sure every lesson feels achievable, empowering, and even fun.
Above all, I’m committed to helping pupils feel proud of their learning — and helping families feel supported every step of the way.
