About Sakina
As a dedicated and responsible 17-year-old currently studying a T Level in Childcare and Education, I am excited about the opportunity to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a practical setting. Through my course, I have gained experience in child development, safeguarding, behaviour support, planning activities, and supporting early learning. I have also completed work placement hours in a childcare environment, where I learned how to help children build confidence, work through tasks independently, and stay engaged in learning. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to adapt to different children’s needs. I take pride in being reliable, organised, and enthusiastic about creating positive learning experiences. I enjoy helping children with homework, reading, and structured activities, and I understand the importance of a calm, supportive approach. I am also confident working one-to-one or in small groups and building rapport with both children and parents.

My lessons are designed to be fun, supportive, and helpful for children who need extra guidance with homework or learning skills. I like to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working at their own pace. As a T Level Childcare student, I have experience supporting children in real early years and school settings, learning about child development, communication, behaviour support, and different learning styles. This helps me adapt my approach depending on what each child needs—whether that is encouragement, structure, or more creative ways of learning. My goal is to help students feel more confident, capable, and proud of their progress. Learning should feel positive—not stressful—and I make sure every lesson is encouraging, patient, and centred around the child.
