About Kayla
I graduated from Tufts University (Boston) in 2019, having taken 3 years of college-level Spanish and studying abroad in Chile for a year. I am an English native speaker, but I grew up in schools and neighborhoods with sizeable Latinx populations.
I have always loved languages and grammar (making top marks throughout school) and believe that learning a new language is one of the best ways to connect the world, break down barriers, and expand our horizons. It's an amazing way to make new friends, and opens up the world to you! I am an avid traveler and love to talk about this.

My approach is to meet the student where they're at, and craft a program that best suits their needs and learning style. You won't be forced into a box.
There will be homework, because practice is ESSENTIAL to learn a new language!
I work best with those at an intermediate level, who have some background in the language, but need a little boost. I can also help beginners, though, and you will be in good hands!
