About Douglas Renato
My teaching methodology consists on bringing the content to be learned, to the student's everyday life situations; thus, it makes learning more dynamic and even funny.
Furthermore, the focus of my classes will rely on what is required for the student to success on whattever situations he/she is going to face, be it a HighSchool Test or just being able to converse with the Native English Speakers next time you travel abroad.

I'm teaching Skype, because of the convenience, although we can combine face-to-face classes, too, if necessary. Promoting interactivity during classes is one of my goals, so I use screen sharing so that I can reproduce the various kinds of media that are needed for classes (from verbal and non-verbal texts to the creation of visual reasoning diagrams) to give explanations in several levels of difficulty, being objective in that which values by the objectivity, and subjective in what it values by the subjectivity. During English classes, I look for the student's oral expression, even though I also focus on writing skills. My explanations are aimed at bringing the language closer to reality to be found by the student.
