About Max
I am a student of Social Sciences (in my case Ancient History, Philosophy, and Politics) at Durham University.
I studied Law, Politics, and Ancient History at A Level, and achieved A*A*A.
I understand the challenges that people can face when coming up to their GCSEs and A Levels, the pressure that you are put under, and often the lack of support and access that schools often provide. I hope I can be a point of communication and advice when it comes to exam preparation and essay writing which I personally struggled to find in the mainstream education system.
I also have experience with the tough admissions requirements of top UK Universities, and am therefore also able to help students looking to apply to prestigious institutions (e.g. Russell Group Universities).

I have had experience as a mentor for younger students throughout school, and have a lot of experience when it comes to exams in essay based subjects.
I can also tutor for the LNAT, which I took myself in the process of applying to study Law, achieving a mark of 31/42 (the average for Oxford offer holders being about 28/42, and national average being around 22/42).
I want to help future students achieve their full potential, and have experience of both exams, and admissions strategy to top UK Universities (inc. Russell Group etc). I'm therefore able to tailor teaching to your needs and aspirations. My goal is to get the best out of my students.
Typical lesson length is 55 minutes. Lessons are primarily targeted at students learning at GCSE level (16) and A Level (18), though teaching could be provided to younger students if requested.
