About Chloe
Hi, I'm Chloe, a first-year student at The University of Nottingham, currently predicted a first. I want to teach History because history has always been a passion that I have kept. During my GCSE, I desired to have someone who fully understand the new exam boards, the new papers and the new modules that were involved in History. I believe that I can help a lot more than for example, an older tutor who maybe is stuck in the 'traditional' form of teaching History.

I take the approach that was most effective for me. GSCE students need somebody who can relate to the topics they are currently studying and the extremely effective methods recently.
As history is an essay based subject, I would ensure that the student is confident with the knowledge, I would do this by teaching an hourly session and ensuring that the student is able to summarise the content of the lesson. Secondly, I would give the student an essay every two weeks on a different subject to ensure that their essay skills are complementing the content. History is also important in skills on source analysis. I would also ensure that the student is able to effectively analyse a source with my 7 step method.
I would be most effective when teaching students ages 13-15 ( Year 10 and 11)
