About Fernando
Hello, I'm Fernando, a student of Classical and Ancient Studies at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). I offer classes in Latin, Greek, History, Art History, and Spanish Language, both for high school students preparing for university entrance exams and for adults who want to learn about classical languages and cultures.
My teaching style is based on clarity, organization, and adapting to the student. Each class has a specific objective, with clear explanations, practical exercises, and close support. I believe that learning an ancient language or mastering a historical topic should be an accessible, motivating, and well-structured process.
I consider myself a serious and dedicated teacher, with a vocation for teaching and a passion for classical culture. My priority is that each student progresses at their own pace, gains confidence, and achieves their goals, whether it's passing an exam, understanding a classical text, or discovering the richness of ancient history.

I adapt my teaching methods to each student's profile and objectives. It's not the same to start learning Latin or Greek out of personal interest as it is to prepare to pass a subject or get through university entrance exams.
For high school or university entrance exam students:
In this case, I fully adapt to the school's curriculum and the student's pace. Classes are designed to reinforce what has been covered in class, resolve specific doubts, and prepare students effectively for exams. We work with real university entrance exam (Selectividad) practice questions, clear explanations, and review techniques. In addition to Latin and Greek, I offer support in History, Art History, and Spanish Language, helping students organize their studies and improve in all humanities subjects. My goal is for you to grasp the fundamentals and achieve good grades without excessive effort.
For adults and beginners in classical languages:
I offer a structured and progressive approach, focused on a solid understanding of the language from the ground up. We begin with essential grammar, fundamental vocabulary, and guided reading of short texts. Everything is presented clearly, in an organized manner, and with cultural references to make learning enjoyable. My goal is for students to be able to read and understand classic texts and discover their historical and linguistic richness.
