About Jasmine
I am a vocal instructor with 6 years of experience helping singers grow musically. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a focus on Lieder and Art Song. This background gives me a strong foundation in technique and expression. My main focus is jazz and blues vocal improvisation. I help singers feel free and confident when improvising. Scat singing is taught clearly and patiently. Students learn how to build musical ideas on the spot. Melodic embellishment is explored through listening and practice. I teach how to add color without losing clarity. Advanced harmony is introduced gradually. I explain how chords influence melodic choices. Ear training is a major part of my lessons. Students learn to trust their ears. Scale and chord theory are applied directly to singing. Improvisation becomes musical, not mechanical. I focus on helping students find their own sound. Personal style is encouraged. My teaching approach is always personalized. Lessons are shaped around individual goals. I work with singers at all levels. Technique and creativity grow together. Performance confidence develops naturally. Musical understanding becomes deeper. Singing turns into a personal form of expression.
