I am a student and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire studying Jazz, principal study Tenor Saxophone. I can teach both Saxophone and Clarinet technique, jazz improvisation and music theory.

About Matt
I am currently studying Jazz performance at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where my principal study is Tenor Saxophone.
I previously worked at The Crypt School as the Musician in Residence, where I led the Jazz band and assisted A level students in the classroom and with coursework, along with helping out in other music classes.
I was part of Gloucestershire music for 12 years and took leading roles in Brookfield and GYJO.
I was also a member of the RAFAC National Concert band where I also helped newer members with technique during rehearsals.

My main method when teaching is to take large concepts and break them down in a way thats easily digestible. This way my students will be able to piece small parts of a complex puzzle together themselves, this creates a solid foundation for understanding everything about a subject.
