About Yara
An MD who graduated top of the class with 3 years experience in oncology research and one year experience of mentoring in research, decided to include USMLE tutoring because well,.. I can.
Why me?
Because I can teach, based on my mentorship in research, teaching English and informal USMLE sessions here and there mostly to cover someone’s spot, I’m pretty much capable of helping students understand the subject AND focus on what matters.
I participated in writing full scripts for posts for a social media project, including UWorld questions so I basically explained the whole curriculum and UWorld for step 2 in writing.
I care and I’m disciplined. It’s a tough journey and I tend to customize my approach depending on the person because there is no one size fits all.
