About Lydia
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and have 9 years of teaching experience. My passion for piano comes from years of performance and musical exploration. I enjoy helping students grow from beginners into confident musicians. Every learner progresses differently, and I support their individual journey.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and supportive. I focus on building strong foundations while encouraging musical expression. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace and goals. I believe consistent practice leads to steady improvement.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano repertoire and exploring new teaching methods. These experiences help me improve lesson quality. I enjoy seeing students achieve milestones through dedication. My goal is to help learners build lifelong musical confidence.

My piano lessons focus on building strong technical foundations while developing musical expression. I begin with finger exercises, hand coordination training, rhythm accuracy, note reading, scale practice, and chord understanding. Students also learn dynamics control, articulation, and tempo stability. Each concept is taught step by step to ensure clarity and steady progress. My goal is to make piano learning structured and easy to follow.
As students progress, lessons include sight reading, duet playing, ear training, improvisation, and repertoire development. I also encourage creative exploration alongside technical discipline. Practice routines are designed to build consistency and focus. Regular feedback helps students improve steadily. This builds confidence and musical independence.
Advanced learners focus on performance preparation, expressive interpretation, and technical refinement. I also support exam readiness and audition preparation. My goal is to help students become confident pianists who perform with clarity and expression.
