About Megan
Hi, I'm Megan! I'm originally from Colorado and am currently researching Structural Engineering at UCL. Alongside my academic and professional engineering experience, I've spent several years tutoring students from middle school through to university level. Outside of engineering, I enjoy snowboarding, rafting, helping build cabins, dancing and spending time with my cat. I believe learning should be engaging and approachable, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and reaching their goals!

Maths, Science & Engineering Tutor - All Ages & Levels
I offer personalised tutoring in Mathematics, Science, and Engineering for students of all ages, from primary school through to university level. My teaching focuses on building confidence and developing a strong understanding of concepts through clear explanations, worked examples, and guided problem-solving.
I have over four years of tutoring experience, including two years as a tutor at the Advanced Mathematics Centre at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I provided support across a wide range of university mathematics courses. I also worked as a peer tutor in high school, helping younger students (ages 13–14) strengthen their understanding and improve their academic performance.
I am currently completing a Doctorate degree in Structural Engineering and have professional experience as both a structural engineer and researcher. Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they need help building foundations, improving grades, preparing for exams, or tackling advanced university-level STEM subjects.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but can be adjusted to suit individual needs! I am very easy-going and love to build a supportive relationship with my students!
