About Trevor
I am an enthusiastic Spanish tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During this period, I have successfully guided around 150 students toward achieving better language skills and greater confidence. Teaching gives me the opportunity to support students as they discover new abilities and reach important academic milestones.
My teaching philosophy is based on encouraging active learning. I believe students remember more when they participate in conversations, solve language exercises, and apply their knowledge in practical situations. My lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through engaging activities and structured practice.
I provide regular feedback, revision sessions, and personalized support so students continue improving with confidence. I also introduce Spanish culture, traditions, and authentic expressions that make learning more interesting and meaningful.
Helping students become confident Spanish speakers while improving their examination results has been one of the greatest achievements of my career. Their progress motivates me to continue creating effective and enjoyable learning experiences.
My aim is to help every student develop strong communication skills, enjoy the Spanish language, and achieve lasting success in both academics and everyday communication.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, integrity, and adaptability because I believe these values create the best environment for learning Spanish. I begin by understanding each student's learning objectives and then develop lessons that match their level and pace.
I use practical conversations, grammar exercises, vocabulary practice, pronunciation drills, reading passages, writing tasks, and listening activities to build all language skills together. Rather than relying only on textbooks, I include everyday situations and authentic examples that help students use Spanish naturally. I encourage curiosity, active participation, and consistent practice during every lesson.
Honest feedback and regular progress reviews allow students to identify areas for improvement while celebrating their achievements. I remain flexible by adjusting lesson plans whenever students need additional support or greater challenges.
Besides Spanish, I teach Spanish grammar, conversational Spanish, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, listening practice, DELE exam preparation, business Spanish, travel Spanish, Hispanic culture, Spanish literature, and communication skills. My aim is to inspire lifelong learning while helping students achieve confidence and fluency in Spanish.
