About Christal
Most people see tutors as people that are so serious but I think a tutor should have a good balance of fun, straight forward, and educational. Being stiff is definitely boring for students so if you show and act like you actually care, it’ll make the whole learning experience much better. I personally do care about the growth of students and I’m willing to help be apart of someone’s journey to success. At my middle school, I stayed an extra hour every Monday to help elementary students with their homework in a program called “Teen Trendsetters.” I’m an amazing mentor and make learning actually fun for students. My mentee’s have learned so much from me and actual skills that’ll help them in the future.
