About Alfie
I’m Alfie, a dedicated and friendly tutor who believes learning works best when it feels comfortable and enjoyable. I’m often described as a charming, approachable person who is easy to talk to, but I also take pride in working hard and achieving highly. Shown as, alongside my academic success (nine grade 9s at GCSE and predicted AAA* at A level), I’ve had the privilege of performing with my band (FatVince) at Latitude Festival and appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe, experiences that have built my confidence, creativity and communication skills. I bring this same energy and positivity into every lesson I teach.

I’m Alfie, a thoughtful and approachable tutor offering one-hour lessons in Maths, Science, Drama and Spanish up to GCSE level. Having achieved nine grade 9s and one grade 8 at GCSE and predicted A*A*A*A* at A level, doing Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Drama. I combine strong subject knowledge with recent experience of the exams. Because I am 17, I understand exactly how GCSE students feel under pressure and can connect with them in a way that makes learning less stressful and more engaging. My lessons focus on clear explanations, exam technique, and building confidence, tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
