About Oliver
Heya ! My name is Oliver Evans and I have a fiery passion for 1. French language, 2. Teaching and 3. Learning while having fun.
So what is there to know about me? I grew up in Melbourne, studied at Melbourne Grammar School, changed school to the Victorian School of Arts, learned French at the Victorian School of Languages, and graduated in 2020. I moved to Perth for work at the start of 2022. For the two years following my graduation, I studied various Diplomas whilst tutoring local students and children in my neighborhood. At the start of 2022, my move to Perth and starting my new work became the priority, but now I have settled into my new home, I am ready to start sharing my love for French once again.

Let's learn French with a fun approach! I can tell you there is nothing more frustrating than trying to learn a language but in the end, you just become bored with the process. Learning languages is meant to be fun! Each lesson you should come out with an urge to learn more!
I'm offering variable-length lessons, whatever is convenient for you, and our process is simple; I want to know more about you, let's get rid of that 'teacher-student' formality that ultimately puts a block in learning fully. How do you learn? What interests you? what do you find easiest in languages (vocab, listening, reading, writing)?
From here, each lesson will include crucial parts of language learning - written and oral production and written and oral comprehension, let's not focus solely on vocab and grammar but that comes naturally right ?!
I graduates from the Victorian School of Languages with a VCE study score of 37 in French in 2020 and have tutored younger children for two years. I have a passion for french and a passion for creating that spark for beginners in the language so if you have a level between A1 and B1, let me share my knowledge with you.
