About Dominique Jan
I enjoy teaching very much. I am thrilled at the feeling that students learn and understand concepts because of you. My style is always to guide patiently the students so they can eventually learn difficult concepts themselves and much more see how they are relevant to life. My passion as a tutor has given me the opportunity to be recognized as the top tutor of the year in two straight years in 2021 and 2022 by a US-based tutoring site I have been connected with for quite a long time already. On days when I do not teach or tutor, I volunteer to help in our church ministries. Also, taking road trips especially during sunset time is usually my refreshment after a long busy day.

With a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and eight years of experience as an online tutor, I am well-equipped to teach STEM courses to K-12 and College students. My background as a licensed engineer and my academic achievements from the top university in the Philippines provide a strong foundation in Math, Science and Engineering courses.
