My teaching style is said to be dynamic, motivational and accommodating. I have a strict, yet “go get it” attitude, intertwined with humour, hard-work and building rapport between one-another.
I have a wide ranging and in-depth subject knowledge due to my academic background and my passion for learning. I’m extremely adaptable to students and their needs and particularly good at engaging pupils at their current level and then strategically building up their knowledge in a fun, energetic way.
Pupils end up enjoying subjects I teach, even if it wasn't a big favourite beforehand! I believe each individual can excel in life with the right guidance, therefore I always make sure to accommodate myself to each student’s needs, and understand them as an individual with an independent mind, perception and way of learning.

Perfect! Amazing tutor!
Sharon is one of the best tutors I have come across. She is so kind, and well spoken. I find her to be very understanding, as well as patient. She made me feel comfortable, and she motivated me as well. I am grateful I came across her.

When I first met Sharon last year I was struggling to write assignments above a low 2:1, I wanted to improve and achieve a 1st but my lecturers did not support or believe in me.
When I spoke to Sharon about this she gave me a realistic perspective, I would not be a 1st student overnight, this will be a building process. I did not have the academic skills or the correct mindset but she saw potential in me and is still supporting me to this day. As a tutor, she quickly developed an understanding of how I work in and out of the lessons, adapted to it and helped me use my weaknesses to my advantage. As a mentor, Sharon has taught me to become patient and balance my ambition with other issues in life.
I have already begun writing at the level I was told I could never achieve and I hope this momentum will continue in the future.
