In each lesson, I will connect the content to real world experiences of the student and society. I make sure to expose students to a variety of cultures and schools of thought while keeping students entertained using story telling throughout my lessons. I use visual and auditory cues and direct instruction to keep students engaged while promoting academic confidence.
I love teaching and am a lifelong learner myself and hope to instill that love in the students I teach. I'm passionate about being an advocate for individuals with disabilities.
I teach students ages 3-22 in the areas of Math, Science, Language Arts, Reading, Critical thinking, self-advocacy and executive functioning (planning and organization).
Let's learn and have fun doing it!
