About Tiago
Hi there, welcome. I’m a digital designer and university-level tutor with a background in film. I currently teach CAD (Computer Aided Design) lessons to two Fashion Course at LCCA London, and through that experience have worked with students across various levels. I’ve been working with Adobe software since around 2005, and I can cover Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I have recently studied Motion Design at Escape Studios and I have also tackled the Animation Bootcamp at School of Motion. Always learning. My approach is hands-on and focused on making complex tools more accessible. I personally like to understand how things work, so I’m committed to demystifying these programmes for my students, helping them feel more confident and empowered as they grow their skills. I’m based in London and offer lessons both online and in-person. I'm originally from Portugal, so I can do the lessons in Portuguese as well.

In our time together, I will teach InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects to anyone looking to build confidence in digital design — whether you're just starting out, studying at GCSE or university level, or simply exploring a creative passion. My lessons are beginner-friendly, personalised, and focused on practical understanding. Each session typically lasts an hour, but longer sessions can be arranged if needed. I tailor the structure to your goals and learning style. My aim is to give you the skills and confidence to work independently as quickly as possible, so you reach a point where you no longer need my help. We’ll start by introducing the tools, then build up your skills with simple creative exercises. I also offer guidance on some of the more technical aspects. Think of it as design tuition and approachable tech support rolled into one. With a background in film and a current role teaching at university level, I bring both creative insight and technical clarity to every lesson. Whether you're creating an assignment report or editing a short film, I'm here to help you find your feet and start producing work you're proud of. In our first lesson, we'll work together to create a personalized plan based on your goals, and I'll guide you through installing all the necessary software. We’ll also take some time to make sure I'm the right fit to help you on your creative journey.
