About Arman
I'm an experienced tutor who graduated top of my class from Stanford University in 2022. My passion for education stems from intellectual curiosity: I love to learn more about the world around me, and I love sharing what I've learned even more. While I majored in history, I've taken everything from college-level chemistry to advanced anthropology courses. When I'm not tutoring, I'm probably tucked away somewhere in the New York Public Library or walking my two lovely dogs.

My lessons are always about personalizing instruction to best meet the needs of my students. On a day-to-day level, I specialize in helping students study for a variety of exams, draft and edit their writing assignments, and plan complicated projects. On a long-term level, I help my students build better habits and manage the chaos of academic life without needing to overextend themselves.
For an SAT/ACT prep session, a typical lesson plan would involve a quick diagnostic, collaboration on a set of practice problems/passages, and a review of tried-and-true test strategies.
