About Alexandra
Hi, I'm Alexandra! I am a graduate student studying Speech-Language Pathology, which means my daily life is all about the science of language, reading, and communication. This background gives me a deep understanding of how we learn to read and write, allowing me to bring a lot of specialized knowledge to our tutoring sessions.
I know that learning something new or asking for help can feel a bit intimidating. That is why I make sure my lessons are always a safe, patient, and highly professional space. I don't just use worksheets; I will carefully tailor everything we do to match exactly how you or your child learns best.
Everyone is welcome in my lessons! I love working with students of all ages, and I especially welcome new English language learners (ELL/ESL). Whether you are a parent looking to help your preschooler catch up, a student working on school reading, or an adult wanting to master English grammar and conversational skills, I am here to help. Together, we will build your skills and your confidence in a comfortable, supportive environment!

My Methods & Techniques
Backed by my background as a speech-language pathology graduate student I use a combination of Multisensory & Visual Learning, Gamified Learning, Scaffolding, and Evidence-based practice.
What Sets Me Apart:
I don't just teach reading and writing; I understand the underlying mechanics of language acquisition. This allows me to pinpoint exactly why a student is stuck. I bring specialized, clinical-level patience and tailored resources to every session.
