About Samuel
I am a current undergraduate student at UC San Diego, with classes taken at UC Irvine and UCLA. I am a seasoned veteran in the sport of Mock Trial and Speech & Debate, and I am a current coach for national champion debaters.
A few of my accolades include:
- MVP (x3) in Mock Trial
- Outstanding Attorney (x6) in Mock Trial
- Outstanding Witness (x1) in Mock Trial
- 3rd Place at the Ronald Reagan Western Regional
- 5th Place at the Ronald Reagan Great Communicator Debate Series National Championship.
Furthermore, I have coached numerous students aged K-12th in rhetoric, public speaking, and confidence. I have also tutored multiple students in AP Government & Politics and advised them on CollegeBoard tips and tricks in how to get that coveted 5 score.

What I offer in my sessions:
1. Public Speaking Coaching - I am a seasoned veteran in Mock Trial and Speech & Debate, with numerous national championship placements and accolades. Whether it's presenting in front of a classroom or a TEDx talk, I am an expert in giving advice on how to speak confidently, passionately, and with ease in all types of situations.
2. Creative Writing/Essay Writing Advice - As a previous AP Scholar, I have experience writing essays of all types of rhetoric, language, and formalities. I offer essay writing advice in assignments and college essays!
3. Proofreading - Similarly to #2, I can proofread your essay and take things to the next level with your essay, giving you tips in sounding more professional, standing out in applications, and overall more passion to your words.
4. AP Test Preparation - Currently, I am only tutoring AP Government & Politics test preparation and lessons. However, these lessons include understanding unique units, going over test questions, clearing out any confusion, or simply learning new material!
